Pricing FAQs

The main things people ask before they book

What does the $700 cover?

It covers the celebrant service for a short paperwork-only marriage, review of your paperwork, the ceremony itself, registration after the ceremony, and your ceremonial certificate on the day.

When do we pay?

You pay the fee when you complete the booking form to get started.

When is the date confirmed?

The date, time, and place are confirmed once your paperwork has been received and checked, subject to our availability.

Are witnesses included?

You are welcome to bring your own two adult witnesses. If you need us to organise witnesses, that is an optional extra.

Is the official marriage certificate included?

No. The official certificate is issued by Access Canberra after the marriage is registered and is paid directly at the current government rate.

What if we actually want a full wedding?

This service is not for that. If you want a full wedding ceremony, book a Canberra celebrant like Josh Withers. For an elopement, see Elopement Collective.
